How is blood sugar measured?
It's typical for blood sugar levels to climb a little after eating for the first two hours. Within 60 to 90 minutes following a meal, the blood glucose level (postprandial blood glucose) should not rise above 160 mg/dL; it should then return to normal within three hours.
