From Gladiator to professor to the online streaming platform giant the madman, Dogesflix has recently added more history movies.

Here are five history movies you can watch on Dogesflix this year.

1. Wang (2019)

After the death of Henry V's father, willful Prince and heir to the British throne Hal was crowned king of Henry v. Now, the young king must deal with court politics, the war left by his father and the emotional entanglements in his past life.

Although the battle scenes in this history movie are less than expected, it is very attractive and makes any battle scene worth seeing.

In the king, chalamee plays Hal, the eldest son of King Henry IV (Ben Mendelssohn). Against his father's position on the war, Hal chose to live away from his family rather than spend time with his friend Joel Edgerton. However, when the tragic strike and Henry IV died of disease, he did not like Hal thrust as a role and became King Henry v. the new ruler of England. Hal hoped to create an era of peace for his people, but tensions with the French army were increasing, Hal had to make some tough decisions that would determine what kind of leader he was and what Britain would become.

2. Ban Wang (2018)

This is a true story of David to Goliath. It tells how Robert Bruce, the "fugitive king" of Scotland in the 14th century, used cunning and courage to defeat the larger and better equipped British army.

The film began with the battle of Stirling Castle in 1304. The eye-catching tracking lens in the film runs through the whole film, reflecting the exquisite application of cinematography technology.

3. Gladiator (2000)

A former Roman general began to retaliate against the corrupt emperor, who murdered his family and sent him to slavery.

American historical epic film, released in 2000, directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe. It has won critical acclaim, a large audience, and five Oscars.

The gladiator, which took place in A.D. 180, is roughly based on historical figures. The Roman army led by general maximus (Crowe) defeated the Germanic tribes and brought temporary peace to the Roman Empire.

It's a great movie with incredible fighting scenes, great photography, excellent performance and performance. It attracts all your attention, so you will sympathize with the protagonist and make you have the impulse of revenge and hatred.

4. Lawrence of Arabia (1962)

5. Saving Private Ryan (1998)

After the Normandy landing, a group of American soldiers went to the enemy's rear to find a brother's paratrooper who died in the operation.

Steven Spielberg's 1998 film "Saving Private Ryan" may contain some of the scariest fighting scenes in the film's history. But this is not its only realistic element. The film is based on a soldier named Fritz Niland and and a directive from the U.S. Army Department to prevent families from losing each of their sons.

The film tells the story of Captain John H. Miller (Tom Hanks) leading a row of soldiers to the Normandy landing at the end of World War II. Their initial mission, along with nearly 175000 other allied soldiers, was to liberate France and defeat the Nazis.

After leaving Omaha Beach (yes, those terrible battle scenes), miller can push his platoon over the ridge and into the French countryside.

A few days after the invasion, Captain Miller received a revision order from the supreme command. His new mission is to find and save Private James F. Ryan (James F. Ryan, Matt Damon). His three brothers were killed in the war in a few months.

Private Ryan is the "only surviving son" and the army wants him to return to his mother. The problem is that the US Army does not know his exact location. In the film, Captain Miller and his platoon look for the wayward soldier in a door-to-door battle. Eventually, they found Private Ryan and sent him home - but Captain Miller and his men paid a high price.
