Introduction
The other day, the local board members of the Bahria Town Phase 8 , responsible for arranging and planning the high-end projects in the township, provided a detailed briefing about the extension at a meeting.
They said that once their project was launched and completed with approval from all concerned authorities, it would be one of their most prestigious projects. It would include three new 10-storey towers. The cost of each tower is Rs6 million per sqft. cost of three towers will be around Rs80 billion. The total area covered by each tower is 250m². In addition to these buildings, there would be 152 apartments which will also be built on 28 acres land belonging to Bahria Town Phase 8 Islamabad and 12 acres Land belonging to Bahria Town Phase 8 Rawalpindi (Barra).
Phase eight is situated in Westridge Township on Bahria Road near Jodia Park Area. It has been designed by HOK (a global architecture firm based in Atlanta). The buildings are built according to international standards for high quality living spaces with all essential facilities such as shopping malls, community centers, schools, administrative offices and banks.
